Organizing

The management function of arranging people and resources into roles and tasks so goals can be accomplished.

Organizing answers who does what, with which equipment, at which time. Creating a new position, assigning stations, and restructuring a reporting line are all organizing decisions.

Leading
Organizing assigns the work; leading motivates and guides the people once the work is assigned.
Planning
Planning decides what will be done and with what resources; organizing arranges the people and resources into roles to do it.
