Financial Goal
A named money target with an amount and a deadline attached, covering saving, spending, borrowing, or investing.
The amount and the deadline are what make a goal usable. Without both, there is nothing to measure a weekly transfer against.
Often Confused With
- Emergency Fund
- A goal funds something you chose; an emergency fund funds something you did not.
